James Stenson, DO Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Stenson is a board-certified shoulder and elbow surgeon at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery County. His practice is dedicated to the care of all shoulder and elbow related conditions. He has special interests in anatomic and reverse shoulder replacement surgery, rotator cuff surgery, shoulder instability, and fractures of the clavicle, shoulder, and elbow.
Dr. Stenson received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University where he played ice hockey and participated in Army ROTC. Dr. Stenson graduated from medical school and completed his residency training at Rowan University. Dr. Stenson continued his training in Seattle where he completed a year-long fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery from the University of Washington. Dr. Stenson has published multiple peer-reviewed articles within the field of shoulder and elbow surgery and has presented his work across the country. A combat veteran with over 13 years of service, Dr. Stenson currently serves as a Medical Officer in the New Jersey Army National Guard. Dr. Stenson's military decorations include the Bronze Star, Army Achievement Medal with Combat Device, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Operating Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, and Air Assault Badge.
Dr. Stenson is accepting new patients in East Norriton. In his free time Dr. Stenson enjoys running, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. He lives in Bucks County with his wife, Dr. Irene Stenson, and two children.
